Amen…I am going through a time now … trying to identify the true source of my feelings of unease. I think I am longing for God even as I practice staying present in His presence…so much I don’t see yet.. thank you for opening your heart to us, sister.

You have been on my mind. Maybe we need another FaceTime, this time, preferably, NOT while I am at the doctor with a tick bite inches away from a place no tick should ever be...

That would be great… I am in for the night. I have nothing until 4pm Mass on Saturday.

I am at a crossroads for sure…

Just getting to comments…I de-screen on weekends (or at least I try). Let’s try for a connection this week. Love you.

I have found myself in this same situation. Replaying my day to find that moment when I knew the sadness/frustration took over. Glad I'm not the only one!

Oh AMEN to this!

May He never stop giving me the ability to pinpoint the moment I take my eyes off Him!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I find when I get wrapped up in Social Media, the news etc…I am sad and end up letting it take over. I know in my heart what to do, I just don’t always do it….(do you mind if I ask you what book you are praying with in the picture?)

@Danielle Bean Just wrote/posted an excellent piece on the dangers/effects of Instagram, FYI. And yes, the news will do that to you, too… bring you down so that it removes Jesus from the picture. Spiritual maturity is the answer, and the remedy is a deepened faith. And…we will be working on exactly this in mentorship this week!!! The book is my prayer missal…The New Roman Missal by Father Lasance.

I find it difficult to do these things, focus and remain in God's presence in suffering.

Me too (and probably everyone else!). My prayer life is what has helped reel me back in and put my focus where it needs to be, but every day is a new challenge.
